Due to an unprecedented expan-
sion of the retail fur business, Birn-
baum's most exclusive fur house in
Detroit is compelled to move from
their present quarters at 1422 Wash-
ington boulevard to 1536 Broadway,
in the Capitol Theater building. All
alterations on the new premises are
expected to be completed in time for
occupancy on July 1.
The removal to the Capitol Thea-
ter building will afford Birnbaum's a
large ground floor area which they
do not have at present. The storage
capacity will be increased to a great
extent, enabling many more patrons
to use the service for which Birn-
baum's have been noted.
Before removal, the large stock of
furs in the present building will be
plated on sale for quick disposal.
