Prominent among the fashionable
weddings of the season was that of
Miss Adele Siegel, daughter of Jacob
Siegel of Boston boulevard, to Dr.
Willard Mayer, son of Mrs. Belle
Mayer, which was solemnized in the
parlors of the Phoenix Club on Wed-
nesday evening at 6 o'clock. Rabbi

and valley lilies. The little flower
girls, Miss Helene Siegel, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Siegel, and
Miss Blanche Amberg, daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Emil Amberg, wore

dainty frocks of pink chiffon and car-
ried baskets of forget-me-nots and
sweetheart rims which they strewed
in the pathway of the bride and
groom. Mrs. Mayer, mother of the
groom, was handsomely gowned in
black satin and jet and carried laven-
der orchids and valley lilies. Melville
Mayer, brother of the groom, was
best man and the ushers were Eugene
and Leo Siegel, Ralph Mayer and
James Strauss of Chicago. Bunches
of white flowers to represent bridal
bouquets centered the small tables at
which the guests were seated. The
bride's table was adorned with silver
vases filled with bride's flowers, fes-
tooned with malines and ribbons.
During the dinner hour a string or-
chestra added charm to the affair,
which was followed by dancing. The
out-of-town guests attending the wed-
ding were Mrs. David Weingurden,
Mr. and Mrs. A. Siegel, Miss Kathryn
Samstag, Royal Levy, all of New
York; Mrs. I. B. Strauss and sons,
James, Robert and Mortimer, Mr. and
Mrs. I. C. Lederer, Mr. and Mrs. Fred
