Temple Beth El Sisterhood held its

first meeting of the coming year
Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the form of
an "Experience Party." Each lady
related her experiences in raising her
pledged contribution to the commun-
ity building fund. The following
officers were elected: President, Mrs.
I. Rich; vice-president, Miss Lillie
Lenhoff; secretary, Mrs. J. D. Kellar;
treasurer, Mrs. J. Thal. The ladies
are planning a dinner for Thursday
evening, Oct. 2U, at 6:30 for the
benefit of the buildig fund. Mrs.

general chairman. Hostesses for the
afternoon were Mrs. Max Hirshberg
and Miss Lillie Lenhoff.

held their first meeting Wednesday,
Oct. 5.

ternoon was spent sewing for the
brides-to-be, who were also recipients
of beautiful gifts for the hostess.

calling a conference of Jewish agri-
cultural workers in South Russia. The
