MARTIN JONAS, 11, DIES
AFTER 2-DAY ILLNESS

Martin Jonas, 11-year-old son of
Mr. and Mrs. James Jonas of Second
Boulevard, died suddenly Saturday
night, after a two days' illness. Re-
turning in apparent good health from
an outing to Put-in-Bay, spent with
his parents, the boy was stricken with
the illness that resulted in his death.
The funeral was conducted from
Hamilton's undertaking parlors Mon-
day morning at 10:30, Rabbi Henry
J. Berkowitz officiating. Interment
took place at Woodmere cemetery.
Martin, who was the only child of
his sorrowing parents, was a popular
student at the Farrand School. Ile

at this meeting. Many of the boys
of the two troops have just returned
from two weeks spent at the Detroit
Council Camp at Green Lake, where
they had a pleasant time, hiking,
swimming., games and making all-
