The Knights of Judaea Sunday af-
ternoon beat the Maccabees of Ju-
daea in a baseball game by a score
of 12 to 6. The game was featured
by several sensational catches by Abe
Torgow of the Knights, the smallest
player on either team.
In order to win the trophy offered
by the Detroit Young Judaea Council
to the champions in the intermediate
group of boys' clubs in Detroit Young
Judaea, the Knights will now have
to defeat the Maccabees once more
in a deciding game and will have to
beat the Uplifter. of Zion, the lat-
ter having been defeated once before
by the Knights of Judaea.
Isadore Cohen was the winning
pitcher in last Sunday's game.
