SI•s ► wa 3200 to 1425. Reduces 3300
on Willys-Knight.

New schedules of prices on both
the Overland and Willys-Knight lines
have been announced by the Willys-
Overland interests, through Guy 0.
Simons, president of the Simons Sales
Company, Detroit distributor. The
prices become effective Wednesday,
June 1. The new prices put the
Overland touring at $695 and the
Willys-Knight at $1,895.
This is the most sweeping reduc-
tion made in prices this year. In
1September the Overland touring was
selling for 51,035 whn it was cut
to 5895. The further cut to $695,
means a reduction of 33 per cent in
nine months and a 22 per cent re-
duction on the price now in effct.
The great surprise in the Willys-
Overland announcement is the deep
cut of $300 made in the Willys-
Knight car, according to Mr. Simons.:
The new price puts this car at the
very lowest price among America's
finest cars.
The ability of Willys-Overland to
make this saving may be judged from
the fact that up to May 1 this year
more than 50,000 Willys-Knight cars
had been sold, and among the pur
chasers of this Willys-Knight car who
are enthusiastic over the qualities of
its motor, are the Prince of Wales
and the King of Spain, who join with
thousands of Americans in placing
price secondary to satisfaction.
Simons points out that the new
price of the Overland is 5150 less
than this model has ever been sold
for and is made possible, according.
to John N. Willys, president of the
Toledo concern, by quantity produc.!
tion and sales of this model, which
has now passed the 140,000 mark and
by anticipation of great savings in
the manufacturing costs through in-,
creased volume and increased factory
efficiency.
New N rices on all models of the

The reduction on the Willys-Knight
mdoels is 5300 on the open models,
putting the prices June 1 at 51,895.
On the closed cars the new coupe
price of 52,550 is a reduction of
5295, while on the sedan the price
' has been slashed $195, placing this
closed car at $2,750.

DEPENDABILITY FIRST —THEN THE PURCHASE PRICE

Dodge Brothers have never solicited the
patronage of the American people on a
basis of price.

They have chosen rather to build their
car so well that its intrinsic worth would
be unquestioned

Dodge Brothers will continue to build
their car so well, that it will always
be dependable and the purchase price
will be as nearly as possible the last
expenditure.
