There are 500 rooms in the hotel,
each with its private bath. The rates
will be $2.50 a (lay and up. The
avowed aim of the management is
to prove first-class aceornmodations
and service at a pi ive that is emi-
nently fair. The f urnish logs
throughout combine taste and com-
fort. Decorations are tasteful and
restful. There in nothing garish
about either the sleeping apartments
or the public rooms, but an effort
has been made to create a "homey"
atmosphere. The lobby and lounge
are triumphs of the decorator's art.
The dining room will have its for-
mal opening Saturday, March 26,
and reservations are being made for
the celebration. The best food, fine-
ly prepared and served, and at a
moderate price, will be one of the
beat features of the Wolverine. The
chef is Fred Keller, formerly of the
Fort Pitt hotel, Pittsburgh, and the
Hotel Plaza, New York. Charles
Fraimuth, formerly of the Frontenae
and Pontchartrain, is steward.
The staff throughout is made up
of experienced and successful hotel
men. John D. Cantwell and George
P. Doherty, formerly of the Statler
and Pontchartrain, respectively, are
the house managers.
Officers of the Wolverine Hotel
Company, the operating concern,
are: Marcus L. Freud, president;
Jerome S. Freud, secretary-treas-
urer; F. II. McArthur, comptroller.

LATEST MODEL EQUIPPED WITH NEW HOOD.
The Franklin Sedan, equipped with a new hood, is a line five-passenger
enclosed car of broad and practical usefulness. It has front seats of the
Pullman swiveling and tilting type, is upholstered in neutral green broad-
cloth, with silk shades`to match, and has dull platinum trimmings of exclu-
sive designs. The interior appointments consist of window regulators, coat
hooks, dome light of tinted glass, grab handles, robe cords, hand mirror and
silk shades. The body and running-board shields are of aluminum, the body
being built with slanting N' front, composed of two adjustable windshields,
affording wide and unobstructed vision and the least wind resistance.
The new hood with which the Franklin is equipped is very popular
among automobile buyers and the demand for it is gradually increasing.

The Most Beautiful Car in , A merica
A Suggestion to the
SPORTSMEN OF DETROIT
W
E have stated on several occa-
sions that our new seven pas-
senger "Lakewood 6-66" is a car with-
out a legitimate competitor.
By that we mean that it very dis-
tinctly outclasses every car in its own
price field.
By that we mean that it can be com-
pared with only the finest and most
expensive motor vehicles on the mar-
ket.
This is a broad and sweeping state-
ment—very important if true, and
very improper if founded on anythng
I ess substantial than facts.
But we are sure of our facts and the
time is at hand when. you can con-
firm them.
Practically every reputable American
motor car is now on exhibition at the
automobile show.
We suggest that you visit that show
and compare the "Lakewood" with
any car — at any price—and form
your own conclusions.
So much for the facts that can 'be
established indoors.
We next suggest that you forget en-
tirely about standards of beauty and
move to the real testing ground of
mechanical fitness. -
Take just one demonstration in the
"Lakewood" and judge it from the
standpoints of power, speed, accele-
ration, spring suspension and general
motor efficency.
NAME THE MASTER SALESMAN
Sound principles prove them-
selves in times of stress, and
test and trial.
cars they built, but for the kind
of motor car they built.
They looked forward to the day
when that name alone would be
sufficient to sell all of the Dodge
Brothers Motor Cars their great
works could build.
The reason Dodge Brothers
Motor Car stands well today
is that, six years ago, Dodge
Brothers were thinking of to-day.
They built their ear, in the be-
ginning, so that it would be sure
to stand well to-day.
It was a sane ; simple philosophy
which thought of every man or
woman who bought one of their
motor cars as one who must be
made a friend for the future.
The reason Dodge Brothers
Motor Car is now strong in sales
is that, six years ago, Dodge
Brothers were thinking less of
building and selling motor cars
and more of building and de-
serving good will.
It is one thing to conceive a car
which will give each buyer a
minimum of trouble and a max-
imum of satisfaction, and quite
another thing to build such a car.
Get the facts—actual lapsed time of
the tests—and make a record on the
demonstration card furnished by our
Dealer.
Then take a second demonstration
in any other car, at any price, and
compare the results.
That is all we ask—and we make no
prophecies whatever in regard to
your ultimate conclusions.
In any fair, legitimate, stock tar com-
petition the "Lakewood" will tell its
own story— and you must be the
judge.
Come, sportsmen. Let us show you
the mettle of a real thoroughbred.
Six years ago they thought of
sales only as something sure to
follow if they built a car that de-
served well at the hands of the
people.
Six years ago, Dodge Brothers
devoted themselves to the ac-
tual construction of such a car,
and kept on steadily making
more and more sure that . "they
had produced it.
They were not thinking, then,
of the huge immediate market
for motor cars, but of the surer,
sounder, more permanent mar-
ket for a good motor car.
Because they thought chiefly of
their good name six years ago,
and every day since, Dodge
Brothers Motor Car stands well
and sells well, the world over,
to-day.
They wanted their name to stand
not for the quantity of motor
