are expected to participate in this

member of the Judman Dramatic Club
and the Inter-Collegiate Zionist As-
sociation, will deliver a poetic con-
ception Which she has expressly writ-
ten for this Chanukah celebration.

has again consented to lead in the

ELECTS OFFICERS
At a meeting of leaders in Detroit
Young Judea held Wednesday even-
ing, December I, for the purpose of
choosing a successor to Philip Slomo-
vitz, who resigned as supervisor of
the local chapters, it was decided that
the work should henceforth be con-
trolled by a Young Jtal•a Council,
due to the fact that no one individual
could be found to give tip the time
required by the movement.
Samuel Heyman was elected presi-
dent of the council. Miss Julia Wine
WAS elected vice - president; Miss An-
narose Hersh, recording secretary;
Sol Lipshitz, corresponding secretary;
and Miss Sylvia Goldsmith, treasurer.
Meetings of the council are to be
made interesting by interesting liter-
ary programs.
