Colored slides of the exterior and
interior of the new Temple to be

a dignified, classic structure. The
structure, which has had the careful
thought and personal attention of one
of the ablest architects in the coun-
try, has been designed not only for
the spiritual, but also for the physi-

the congregation.

his associate, explained the drawings
flashed on the screen. Mr. Kahn
stated that the plans and specifica-
tions are nearing final completion and
will lie ready within a short time to
be offered for contracting bids.
By unanimous vote the Board of
Trustees was empowered to prepare
the site of the new Temple by raz-

receive and let out contracts, and to
formulate plans for the financing for
the new structure:

'rite final set of plans as presented
and approved mark the culmination
of three years of effort on the part of
Mr. Kahn and hi, associates. Many
drawings were made to induce dis-
cussion and criticism in order that the
specific needs of the congregation
might he disclosed, considered and

adoption of the various plans and
ideas presented a wealth of material
that had to be combined in one or-

that coincident activities would not
clash. The, divisional feature was
made to apply not only to the cod-
gregational requirements, but to club
and social activities as well.

the structure is the modern and
