The Temple Y. I'. S. moonlight,
Monday night, June 21, is serving as
the inspiration for many dinner par-
ties, ending up with the boatride on
the St. Clair, where dancing and other
entertainment will amuse the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. If. Carncss and daugh-
ter, Vivian Jane, of 334 Frederick
street, left Sunday to make their fu-
ture home in Seattle, Wash. En route
they will visit with relatives at St.
Paul, Minn.

Miss Ethel Klein left Monday for
McKeesport, where she will act as
bridesmaid at the marriage of her
cousin, Sara Roth.

Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Popkin (nee
Miss Lillian Segal, of New York), of
430 Burlingame avenue, are receiving
congratulations on the birth of a son,
Robert M., on June 9.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. M. Ellenstein
and family, of Palmer avenue, are oc-
cupying their new summer home at
Amherstburg, Ont.

caux in honor of the Misses Rose and
Anna Schuman. Esther Jane, Annette
Benson, and Minna Benderoff, whose
betrothals have been announced.

Mrs. Aaron A. Silberblatt and son,
Jerome, of 105 liendrie avenue,, have
left for the East to be gone during the
summer months, visiting at Roston
and at Mrs. Silberblatt's Cornier home
at Worcester, Mass. They plan to re-
turn to Detroit in August,

The Shapero Dive No. 564 will give
its annual excursion to Bob-Lo on
Tuesday, July 6. Many interesting
field events are being planned. The
public Is cordially invited.

Mrs. M. Benmoschc, of 151 West
Hancock, met her husband, Dr. M.
Benmosche, in New York last Friday
on his arrival on the steamship Celtic
after a three months' trip to Europe.
Dr. and Mrs. M. Bcnmosche returned
to Detroit Tuesday.

Mrs. A. S. Katbenbogen, of 80 East
Palmer avenue, is entertaining for her
sitter, Miss Ruth Weinstein, of Brook-
lyn, N. Y.
