he knows everybody from John M.

turn in a Franklin sedan, which he
drove himself the entire distance.
While most of the roads were in good
shape, 300 miles were over what Is
known as "tough going." Mr. Urschel
did not think the trip anything out of
the ordinary and wouldn't own up to
feeling the least bit tired when be got
back. "And you don't want to mention
the Osier theory In very loud tones
when the 75-year-old Toleaian is with-
in hearing distance," says W. J.
Doughty, local Franklin dealer, 649

Budapest—How the masses are in-

Jews is well brought out by the fol-
lowing case:
Johann Pok, an anti-Semitic speak-
er in an address at a mass meeting
I claimed that all the power in Hun-
gary is in the hands of the Jews.and
that these Jews as a whole are a con-
stant menace to the welfare of the
Hungarian people. Then he parodied
the verses of a popular Hungarian
national poet, Petosi: "Are we slaves
or free men?" "Slaves arc we," re-

the air. The devilish plans of men
turned into beasts are ready.

To supplement its advertising in
foreign fields, and to give the auto-

tries, a vivid, realistic picture of the
accuracy of workmanship In the con-
struction of all types of Haynes cars,
as well as to demonstrate, by means
of road tests and endurance feats,
their ruggedness. The Haynes Auto-
mobile Co., Kokomo, Ind., has produc-
ed a four reel motion picture film.
This film depicts all the various de-
tails and processes of construction,
drop-forging, automatic gear cutting,
motor testing, drilling, aluminum
crank-case milling, body finishing and
upholstering, and filially the actual
selling of the cars In the show rooms
throughout the country.
One of the most interesting scenes
was made from an airplane and gives
an exact conception Of the size and
extent of the Haynes factory.
A print of the film was taken to
Europe, where It is being shown to
prominent automobile men in private
exhibitions as well as on the screens
of European motion picture houses.
The film will also be realesed in the

C. L. Clements, of the Clements
Battery Service, 1497 Gratiot Ave,
Willard representative, explains the
meaning of threaded insulation.
"Every battery has to have some
sort of insulating material between
the plates inside the cells. The su-
periority of threaded rubber is in its
durability over ordinary insulation.
Rubber was never found practical for
general adoption in starting and light-
ing batteries until Willard found how
to make it porous by piercing it with
!tiny threads. Thus the acid solution
can extend through the insulation,
allowing free passage of current.

First Prize $100 cash, second $50 cash,

F. E. McFadden, of the Standard
Automobile Co., of Michigan, De-
troit Standard eight distributor, calls
attention to the method of manufac-
ture by the Standard Steel Car Co.,
of Pittsburgh. ''The car is built for
service and without frills," says Mc-
Fadden. "The factory has been es-
tablished for years among the 'steel
masters' and while every thought is
given to durability, it is also a dis-
tinctive car, in appearance. One of
its marked features is the heavy slant-
ing windshield with triangular shaped
side panels, combined with its multi-
adjustable top and curtains, making
it watertight in any kind of weather."

WARSAW—While walking on the
