MILTON M. ALEXANDER
. TALKS AT BIG . MEETING
AT SHAAREY ZEDEK
r1 1E DETROIT JEWISH CHRONICLE
-
VIVX , VVVVVIVIV/VIV,V1%
In a forceful and instructive ad-
dress, Mr. Milton M. Alexander,
speaking at the regular meeting of the
Bicor Cholem, Juniors, at the Shaarey
Zedek, Thursday, March 4, on "Prop-
aganda for the Jew," outlined a pro-
gram which he said would result in
securing for the Jewish people "their
rightful place in the world."
The speaker pointed out that the
Jew, because of his racial purity, is
today a "superman." Ile discussed at
length the practical methods by which
prejudice and intolerance could be
overcome and the Jew recognized as
a spiritual force among men.
"The time has come," said Mr.
Alexander, "when it will not be
enough to say, 'I am proud to be a
Jew,' but when we must expect the
world to say, 'We are proud of our
Jews.'"
The next meeting of the .organiza-
floc will be held on Thursday, March
18, at 8:30 p. m. at Shaarey Zedek.
A speaker of unusual merit has been
procured. Delores Waiss, talented
elocutionist, will give several read-
ings. William Abramson will sing.
Business of importance will be dis-
cussed at the meeting. Members are
urged to attend.

Hudson Created the Touring Limousine
the Sedan, and Other Distinctive Body
Designs, and the Exclusive Super-Six Motor
No other fine ear is so well regarded by so
many people as the Hudson Super-Six. The
proof is everywhere about you. More than
85,000 are now in service and for five years it
has been the world's largest selling fine car.
Observe its predominance in any assemblage
of fine cars. Each body type is noted for hand-
some appearance and rich completeness of ev-
ery detail. Hudson created new standards of
beauty. All know how its leadership in design
is acknowledged.
LADIES' AUXILIARY
GIVE CARD PARTY
The regular monthly card party
given by the Ladies' Auxiliary of the
Talmud Torah will be held Monday
afternoon, March 15. at the home of
Mrs. Feldman, 40 Rowena.
These parties have been given reg-
ularly during the winter and have
been well attended and highly suc-
cessful from a financial as well as a
social standpoint.
The last card party netted $100,
which, with the proceeds from the
other affairs and the yearly dues of
the members of the Auxiliary, was
turned over to the Talmud Torah to
he used to help maintain its Hebrew
School.
The public is cordially invited to at-
tend the card party Monday after-
noon.
If any car disputes Hudson's supremacy in
speed, endurance, hill climbing or acceleration,
it is not by official proof.

But it was not to prove speed that these tests
were made. Hudson merely established its
speed qualities in development of its value us a
reliable, enduring car, such as you want.
These Tests Helped Build
the Present Hudson
And remember, it was chiefly through endur-
ance, made possible by its exclusive motor, that
Hudson won these victories. Such tests impose
is strain that could he equalled, in ordinary
driving, only by years of hard use.
All automobile engineers were seeking ways
to reduce motor vibration when Hudson solved
the problem through the patented Super-Six
motor. It added 72 per cent to power and al-
most doubled efficiency. No weight or cylinders
were added.
But not the slightest change has been made
in the Super-Six motor principle. For no way
has been found to improve it.
And the Super-Six at once proved its leader-
ship. It became the most famous speed car, win-
ning all important stock car speed records, and
with special cars embodying the Super-Six
Hudson production has always been under
the demand. This year shows a repetition of the
shortage. So to get a Hudson at all this sum-
mer calls for early decision.
And because it has found no rival in per-
formance Hudson's sales leadership among all
fine cars has been unbroken.
