VOTE "NO"ON COUZENS' STREET CAR PLAN

WHY?

BECAUSE it will result in Double Fares.

BECAUSE it will increase the city's debt to no purpose.

BEC4USE it will divide the street railway system into two systems.

BECAUSE it will make lines now connected with the general railway system part of

a separate system without transfers to existing lines.

BECAUSE millions of the city's money will be spent to buy car lines already running.

BECAUSE the city never does business as well as private persons do it.

BECAUSE the men who should know most about it, the street railway men them-

selves, say it is impractical.

BECAUSE the public money and credit are needed to build schools, sewers and

pavements absolutely needed now.
