From 10 to 50 Miles Per Hour
in 16 Seconds
rrIFIE Marmon does not hove to rely on fancy-worded claims
for its appeal. It can point to actualities in performance.
In recent tests for acceleration the new series Marmon ac-
celerated from io to so miles per hour in high gear in 15.8
seconds. These tests were made with a standard seven passenger
Marmon, the car being fully equipped for the road, with top
and windshield up, with spare wheel and tire, and with tire, gas,
oil and water compartments filled—gear ratio 4 to 1. The car
carried a driver and an official observer from the Class Journal
Company, publishers of automobile trade papers.
f.
Let us tell you of other interesting performance tests that
were made. Or better still, let us show you the abilities of the
new series A) artnon in an actual demonstration.
