Our Early Faith Helpe
to Build Up Detroit

We've got a mighty good sys-
tem here, as is well known to
those who have been in other
cities. It is a lucky thing for the

community that we had early faith in
the future of Detroit, as witness the
construction of many miles of track
into territory that has since come with-
in the corporate limits; for within such
territory there lives today the greater
portion of Detroit's million population,
and in it is carried on perhaps the major
portion of Detroit's activities . • . • . •
