Refinishing
Debating Popular.
Debating is proving its popularity
and
in Young Judaea circles. The first
Upholstering
public debate was staged between the
Auxiliary of Zion and the Knights of

of
Judaea. At the Nov. 2 meeting the
girls
of the Daughters of the White
Furniture
and Blue beat the team of the Dr.
lierzi Zion Club, both having proven
their ability in argumentation, consid-
ering the short period of time they
had to prepare. The next debate will
lie held between teams of the Buds
of Judaea and the Lillies of Zion.

dividual honors at the last concert

than any other in the city was the
Buds of Judaea. Three of the best
numbers on the program were pre-
sented by members of this circle. The
recitations by Esther Jacobson, in
Yiddish, had little competition for
first place on the program. While
the Yiddish songs by Rose Stein and
Bessie Yucht deserve honorable men-
tion. The song of Rose Stein espe-
cially won favor with the audience.
