The total book value is now approximately $42,000,000 and there

Where actual inventories and appraisals have been made they
have indicated a value substantially in excess of the book value.

The next ten years will require for new buildings, switchboards,
poles, wires, cables, instruments. etc., at least twice the amount of
the new capital expended during the last ten years. and this large
sum of money can be secured from the people who buy bonds,
