which, in addition to Detroit Terminal properties, includes 190 miles
of Main Line from Detroit. to Grand Haven.
Endorsed 011 each bond is the unconditional guarantee of principal
and Interest of the Great Western Company, which was consolidated
Into the Grand Trunk Railway Company of Canada in 1822, and this
guarantee assumed.
These bonds were payable November 15, 1918, and at that time
privilege was given the holders of the entire issue the right to cash
same or extend the pat mat for two years, at which time they would
be paid at 101 and interest. Most of the holders elected to extend the
payment and these are some of the extended bonds.
