HANNAH JACOB- SON PASSES AWAY Mrs. Hannah Jacobson, one of the best known and active women of the Jewish community of Detroit, passed away on Saturday, September 13, at the home of her son, Benjamin Ja- cobson, 938 Brush Street. The funeral took place on Sun- day, September 14, from her resi- dence. Rabbi A. M. Hershman of the Shaarey Zedek congregation, offici- ated, interment taking place at the Clover Hill Park Cemetery. During the thirty years of her res- idence in Detroit Mrs. Jacobson en- deared herself in the hearts of a wide circle of friends who today mourn the loss of one who was known for her kind deeds and her charitable works. Mrs. Jacobson was a native , of Germany.
