NORTHWESTERN JEWS
FORM CONGREGATION
Detroit Jewry will soon boast of
another house of religious worship,
according to plans at present under
way. The new structure will be lo-
cated west of Hamilton Boulevard
and is designed to cater to the spir-
itual needs of the fast growing north-
western section of the city situated
between the Boulevard and Highland
Park. It is planned to make the in-
stitution thoroughly modern yet or-
thodox in tendency.
A meeting will be held on Sunday,
September 6th, at 10 a. tn. at the home
of Meyer Stone, 320 Atkinson avenue,
for the purpose of discussing and pre-
paring plans for the proposed syna-
gogue. A cordial invitation is ex-
tended to all members of the Jewish
community interested in the project
to attend the meeting.
