rabbi of Temple Emanuel, New York,
who was formerly a representative of
the Jewish Welfare Board in France,
is now professor of history at the
University of American Expeditionary
Forces. It was largely through the
influence of Dr. Endow that the au-
thorities in charge of the university
decided to include courses in Jewish
history and contemporary problems ,
