The Misses Bessie and Lillian Mil-
ler of 188 East Ferry avenue, have left
for a visit with relatives in Columbus,
Ohio.

The Hebrew Orphan Home held its
installation of officers at a general
meeting Thursday, June 8. The flag
was presented by some of the mem-
bers with the wording "Hebrew . Or-
phan Ifotne,'' beautifully embroidered.
All the letters in the name were raf-
fled off and brought $76. The enthus-
iasm ran so high that an appeal by
the newly elected president, Mrs.
Ratkowsky, and the chairman of the
Men's Auxiliary., Mr. Holskin, brought
the amount up to $163.45. The next
regular meeting of the Board of Di-
rectors will he held on Wednesday,
July 23, at the Wilkins Street Tal-
mud Torah.
