Mr. Gornetzky has served as the
president of the Jewish Student Con-
gregation at Ann Arbor during the
current year, and as president of the
Menorah the preceding year. During
his term of office, both organizations
enjoyed unusually constructive and
successful seasons.
In 1915, "Gorily" first leaped into
prominence as a musical composer
when, in collaboration with Sylvan
Grosser of this city, he produced one
of Michigan's most popular union
operas, All That Glitters." In 1916,
he wrote the musical score for "Tres
Rouge," directing the opera on its
spring tour. "Fool's l'aradise," Mich-
igan's 1917 opera, owes its charm and
popularity to the musical contribu-
♦ lions of Mr. Gornetzky, as does also
"Let's Go." the play of last year. His
unmistakable genius and ability has
attracted a famous Broadway Offish-
ing house who live already purchased
the rights in some of his latest com-
positions.
Mr. Gornetzky is a member of the
Sphinx, a junior literary fraternity;
the Druids, a senior literary fratern-
ity; the Griffiths, an All-Campus or-
ganization; Mimes, the Michigan Op-
era Association, the Archons, and the
Barristers, junior and senior law so-
cieties.

The Shriners of Moslem Temple, F.
and A. M., announce their big charity
outdoor show, to be held at Navin
Field, the Fourth of July. This year
it is to be called "An Old-Fashioned
Fourth." and Russell G. l'earce, direc-
tor-general of the celebration, prom-
ises an entertainment of thrills and
surprises, starting at 6 o'clock and
closing with a display of fireworks
that will eclipse anything of its kind
ever seen in Detroit.
These annual celebrations given by
the Shriners are produced solely for
charity. Frank J. Navin has donated
his baseball grounds for the big event.
Co-operation is invited from any char-
itable organization, church or soldiers
benefit in the city of Detroit. Lou C

Owner Satisfaction and
Repeat Orders

The frequency of repeat orders for International Motor
Trucks is the strongest proof of owner satisfaction you can find.

It may take a man a long time to buy his first International—but his

second will be a matter of course.

And it doesn't take an International Truck long to con-
comparison of
vince an owner of its superiority. A very little
the International name

Ton-Mile hauling costs will satisfy any one hat
stands for greater truck economy ;:nd dependability.

Such was the experience of M. Jacobs & Sons. Investiga-
tion of comparative truck values finally led to the purchase of their

first International four weeks ago. Last Monday they ordered their
second International.

This is one of six repeat orders received the past week
from satisfied owners.
If you are looking for better delivery service at lower oper-
ating expense, investigate the International Truck. Or if your

transportation problem is a knotty one, call in one of our engineers to
help you solve it.
