Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan
Marks, 203 Ileudrie avenue, will be
glad to learn that their little daughter,
Edna Lillian, has fully recovered from
a five weeks' illness of scarlet fever.

Andre l'olah, violinist with the De-1
troit Symphony Orchestra, and for-
mer pupil of Eugene Ysaye, appeared
in recital at Temple Beth El, Thurs-1
day evening last, under the auspices
of the Young People's Society.
Through the medium of a thoroughly
modern technic, Mr. l'olah showed
exquisite sensibility, delicacy, feeling
and unerring taste. The concerto was
a rare treat to music lovers.

The first informal dancing party
given by the..Sigma Phi Sorority took
place Monday evening at Fellow:craft
Athletic Club and was pronounced a
huge success. Much credit is due
Miss Edna Reese, Miss Amelia Rose.
Sadie Solomon and Eva Williams for
their untiring efforts toward the suc-
cess of the dance. During intermis-
sions Samuel Pearlman and Billie
Abramsohn entertained with songs.
