has accepted a call from Congrega-
tion B'nai Jacob of the same city. The
latter congregation will soon break
ground on East 55th street for a beau-
tiful new synagogue seating over
1,000.

Louisville, Ky., went "over the top"
in three days, one day less than the
announced time of the campaign in-
stituted there last week to raise $125.-
000 for Jewish war .sufferers: $129.600
was reported at the end of the third
day, and some quarters are yet to be
heard•from.
