The great growth seen in the „Jewish population of Detroit in
the last few years has made it imperative that larger facilities he
given, especially to the young men ;mil yt;ting women of the com-
munity for the exercise of their social tendencies. The building as
it is at the present time is totally inadequate to meet the needs of
organizations who seek entrance and which must be turned away
because of the institution's inability to house more clubs and other
organizations than it does at the present time. The authorities feel
that with this new addition to the building, they still be able to
