Red Cross.
The Temple Ciiit of the Red Cross
meets every Tuesday and those who
have not yet arranged to come to the
workrooms on that day are urged to
do so. The Temple ('nit has ranked
high among the various units in the
city and those in charge are desirous
of maintaining the high place which
it attained by the earnest stork of the
members. There is still such work
to be done and every woman con-
nected with the Temple is expected to

Woman's Auxiliary.
The 1Voinan's Auxiliary of Temple
Beth El will hold its regular meeting
of the month on Nlonday afternoon.
April 14th. The program which has
been arranged for the occasion is in-,
teresting and entertaining. Rabbi
Franklin will begin the program by
answeriug •questions on "The Other
Side of Zionism," a discourse which
he gave at the last meeting but pres-
sure of time prevented him from stay-
ing for the question period. All mem-
bers are urged to attend this meeting.

Young Peoples' Society.
The Young Peoples' Society of Tem-
ple Beth El will continue its classes
until the end of this month and its
members are requested to attend until
that time. The Board of the Society
met last Thursday night to consider
a program on entertainment for
Students and Returned Soldiers when
they give their "Welcome to Re-
turned Soldiers and Students Day:'
on April 27th. All members of the
congregation who desire to entertain
a student or a soldier on that date are
requested to communicate with the
Rabbis as soon as possible. Details
of the program will be given in the
next INJUe of the Chrunick.

The Juni( r 1 oung Peoples' Society
will hold its regular meeting of the
month on Sundry afternoon. .April
13th. The meetings are open only to
members of the Society. Anyone may
become eligible to membership in the
Society by enrolling in some depart-
ment of the Temple Beth El Religious
Qrhool. The minimum age limit is
fifteen.
Boy Scouts.
Tic Boy Scouts of the 'Temple.
Troop 7fi. held a most interesting
program on "Parents' Night Exhibi-
tion last Thursday night. Those who
witnessed the Scouts go through their
drills and exercises could mot but con-
gratulate the elliicient and enthusias-
ic Scoutmaster. S1 r. Milton Armilleim.
The boys enjoy their work thoroughly
and they gave evidence of understand-
ing the elements of first aid. wig-
wagging and woodcraft. Coder NIr.
Aronheims direction the troop has
developed into one of the best ill the
city. N17. .Nronheini two years ago
took a course which would tit him for
the position of scoutmaster and since
that time the Director t , f all the
Scouts in the city looks upon him as
one of the most capable Scout leaders
in the city. Ile has unselfishly given
every Thursday night to his work and
it is certain that by next 'year l'emple
Beth El's Troop will not only he one
of the best hilt also one of the largest
troops in the city.

Junior Scouts.

NIr. Cecil Sillinan, the Junior Scoots
have grown by leaps and bounds.
Last Tuesday over fifty boys were
present for their drill. The idea of
scout work and military discipline
'cents to appeal to the little fellows.
As soon as the weather permits the
troop will spend an afternoon in the
Woods. The troop is anticipating
a visit from two R. O. T. C.
- Akers. Captains Fierce and ()mien-
helm who trill review them. The
lunior Scouts meet every Tuesday at
four.
Girls' Patriotic League.
l'he Girls' l'atriotic League meets
every Tuesday at four. There still be
no meeting this week. however, be-
cause of Passover. The League is led
by Miss Ella Stillman. All girls over
the age thirteen are eligible to
membership.

Boys' Club.
The Boys' Club of the Temple meets
every Friday evening. Only members
of the Religious School are eligible to
menibership.
