The British foreign office has given
another proof of its cordial relations
with the Zionist organization in Lon-
don by granting it authority to recom-
mend Ottoman subjects elf Jewish
nationality for exemption front the
restrictions applicable to alien en-
emies. An order in council has been
drafted giving effect to this arrange-
ment. l'he same ruling has been
made by the Greek government with
regard to the Jews of Salonica. This

will be especially helpful to those
Jews who suffered from the great
conflagration a year ago, the payment
of whose policies were held up by in-
surance companies on ground that
they were enemy aliens.

Congregational meetings are held
on the first Sunday in every month.

From hate, that hides Thee with a
flame,
From envy, making harsh and proud.
From lust of power and love of
fame.

Father, and let them understand.
They are our rock that build our

The cornerstone in mercy laid.
Our rescuers on a barren coast:
And keep them glad and unafraid,
As vanguard of our coining host.

the organization were mostly young-

throughout Germany.
