Rev. H. D. Bass

In view of the enormously increased expense, caused in part by
the foregoing, and partly in consequence of the heavy expenditures ne-
cessitated by the requests that we supply increased quantities of gas to
concerns engaged in manufacturing supplies for the Government, it is
imperative that we should increase the selling price of our product,
and the Directors at a meeti .g held May ninth, 1918, directed that an
increase of FOUR CENTS (4c) per thousand cubic feet be made to
rates now in effect on all bills rendered on and after July first, 1918.
This increase will amount to about ONE THIRD OF A CENT PER
DAY to the average domestic consumer.

Specialist at B'rith ?Maths
17111CT y 7 )110

Consumers can rest
, assured that with the return to normal con-
&ions the rates will be again reduced.
