Boy Scouts at Temple Beth El.

Sunday morning, last, a troop of
Boy Scouts of America was formed
at Temple Beth El. The boys were
most enthusiastic over their organiza-
tion and they were inspired by the
illustrated talk given them by Mr. Ja-
mieson, Director of Boy Scout activi-
ties in Detroit. Brief talks were given
by air. Milton Aronheim, the Scout Nlas- F
to of the Temple Troop, and by Mr.
Milton Alexander, one of the members
of the Troop Committee. The boys
selected Thursday night as their reg-
ular meeting time.
The Scout Troop, while primarily
for the Boys of Temple Beth El, is
open to any boy who desires to join.
provided he is above twelve years of
age. For information about the troop
communicate with Rabbi Maverberg.
The Junior Scout Troop met for its
organization meeting Wednesday at
4:15 and many boys attended. The
younger troop will meet only in the
afternoon. The Junior Scouts will
have suits very similar to the Boy
Scouts and they will receive practi-
cally the same training. Mr. Marvin
Jacobs will have charge of the Junior
L
ocouts.
The Boy Scouts will meet every
Thursday night at 7:00 o'clock at Tem-
ple Beth El and the Junior Scouts will
meet every Wednesday afternoon at
4:15.
