The wedding of Mattie San-
ders, daughter of Mr. A. S. San-
ders, and Isadore Sitron was sol-
emnized at the home of the bride's
sister, Mrs. A. L. Frankensteen,
Sunday, October 14, at 5 o'clock.
Miss Nizzie Behrmann acted as
maid of honor and Mr. Nat Ro-
senberg as best man. The bride
was given in marriage by her
father in the presence of the im-
mediate relatives and closest
friends. After the ceremony a
delightful dinner was served.
The guests were entertained by
musical numbers rendered by
Miss Somilia Rosenblum of Chi-
cago. Among the guests were
Mr. I. C. Troy, Tack Troy, Mr.
Oscar Miller, Mrs. Frank Rosen-
Mum, Miss Somilia Rosenblum

who will assist in the sale are :
Mrs. Louis Grosslight, Mrs. Sam
Kautnear, Mrs. Louis Musliner,
Mrs. Abe Schiffman, Mrs. Jennie
Cohen, Mrs. Magnes A. Hersch-
feld, Mrs. J. E. Goldberg, Miss
Siegel and Mrs. Herman Lieber-
man. Other ladies who desire to
take part in this work are re-
quested to call Mrs. Harry Gold-
stein at Grand 1322.
The engagement of Airs. Ber-
tha Nelkcn to Mr. Jacob Braun
is announced.
Rabbi Leo M. Franklin deliv-
ered the first of this season's
course of lectures before the
Twentieth Century Club on
Tuesday, the subject of his dis-
course being- "A Review of the
Pentateuch."
Airs. Sim Hart has returned
from a visit in New York and
Atlantic City.

an extended trip to the cast. They
will later visit West Baden, Ind.
