the unit several months ago, will be
glad to learn that she arrived "some-

mishap. Letters received by her
aunt, Mrs. 'Blumrosen, of 111 Warren

Avenue E., report that the unit is
happily located, and the treatment ac-
corded its members by the French
people and officials is most cordial.
Miss Rubenstein states that she has
been attending services at a syna-
gogue, and has not yet had occasion
to feel homesick. She is learning to
speak French quite fluently and relates
several amusing incidents arising out
of her use of the language with the
natives, who.. regard her mulch in the
same way as a "greenhorn."
Miss Rubenstein has made many
friends in Detroit during her incum-
bency as nurse at the Harper Hospi-
tal. She is very anxious to hear from
them all and promises to reply if Dos-
ribre. She should be addressed at
"U. S. Army Nurse Corps, American
Expeditionary Force, France."

UR elaborate groupings of period furniture
are of unusual interest to lovers of fashion-
able fuimiture. ,Nowhere in the city can you
find such a large and attractive collection of this fashionable
furniture. Our entire third floor is divided into a large
number of rooms, where the suites are arranged just as they
would appear in your own home.
There are such popular period patterns as Queen Anne, Louis
XVI, William and Mary, Adain, Sheraton, Heppelwaite, Georgian,
and Charles I. Many of these suites cannot be reproduced any-
where in Detroit.
Because of the fact that we are away from the high rents that
prevail downtown, we are well able to sell this dependable furniture
at much less than prevailing prices.
