• SOCIETY

The Fresh Air Society will
hold its annual meeting on Fri-
day, Sept. 28, at the Jewish Insti-
tute. Reports of the past season's
work will be read and a large at-
tendance is hoped for. The good
work which the society has ac-
complished during the summer
months will be continued through-
out the winter along different
lines, and plans for the coming
season will be discussed.

Mrs. Arthur Harris formerly Miss Eva Beauttrice Levine

The marriage of Miss Eva Le-
vine, daughter of Mrs. Lillian
Levine, to Arthur' I. Harris, of
Detroit, was solemnized in the
Congregation Shaarey Zedek,
Wednesday evening, Sept. 12. The
bride's gown was of white silk
tulle over silver cloth, trimmed
with pearl sequen.
She was attended by her sister,
Miss Mayme Levine. Little Miss
Adeline Dann, cousin of the bride,
acted as flower girl. Master Her-
bert Weineman carried the ring.
Mrs. Allan Kopelson sang "0 •
Promise Mc."
Miss Ella Goldstein, Jeanette
Dann and Miss Fanny Steinberg
acted as bridesmaids. The cere-
mony was performed in the pres-
ence of 100 guests by Rabbi Judah
Levine and Rabbi Hershman..The

ushers were Nathaniel Goldstick,
Allan Kopelson, Max Epstein,
Archie Dann and Dr. David Dann.
David Levine, brother of the
bride, acted as best man. The
bride was given away by her un-
ale, Alexander Reichstein.
The out-of-town guests were :
Mrs. Edward Pivowitz and daugh-
ters, Muriel and Ilarriet, of Ionia ;
Mrs. Paul M. Korshak and son,
of Chicago, Mrs. Morris Goodson
of London, Ont., and Mr. , and
