is the guest of Mr. and Mrs.

Mrs. Leo Zuckerman and Miss
Phyllis Zuckerman have returned
from Charlevoix where they spent
the summer months.
Miss Minnie Goldsmith has ar-
rived home from Plattsburg,
where she spent the summer with
her sister, Mrs. Samuel Mendel-
sohn.
A very daintily arranged lunch-
eon at the Statler followed by a
theater party at the Temple was
given by the Misses Lydia and
Mabel Goodman in honor of their
house guest, Miss Lauretta Ru-
benstein of Cleveland, Ohio.

from a short visit in Toledo.

turned to her home after spending
two weeks as the guest of Miss
Edith Licker of Cleveland, Ohio.

The Misses Lillian Vine and
Ilattie Levine gave a miscellane-
ous shower on Thursday evening,
September 6, in honor of Mrs.

receiving congratulations upon
the birth of a daughter, Isabel

Canfield avenue are being con-
gratulated upon the birth of a

A regular meeting of the Delta
Phi sorority was held at the home
of Mrs. Louis Goodman, 106 Med-
bury avenue, on Monday evening,
September 10. The members
were entertained at cards, and a
very enjoyable evening was spent
by all those present.

Miss Rose Silvers of Pitts-
burgh has been spending several
weeks with her grandmother,
Mrs. Hannah Silvers of West Eu-
clid avenue.

Joseph Harris passed the week-
end in Toledo, the guest of Mr.
and Mrs. George Harris.
Misses Rose and Esther Lande-
man have returned to their home
in Toledo after a short visit in the
city.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Sloman

nounce the engagement of their
