The American Red Cross Society is conducting a nation-
wide campaign this week to raise $100,000,000 for their work
in the war. Of this amount Detroit is asked to raise $2,000,000.

The Red Cross is the international
organization of Mercy.

The Red Cross is Non-Sectarian.
It recognizes no race or creed.
serves Humanity.

If you contributed to the Relief of
Jewish War Sufferers, you should also
contribute to the American Red Cross.
The American Jewish Relief Commit-
has suspended the collection of
funds for Jewish War Relief for the
ill ill( present week in order to stimulate the
activities of the Red Cross campaign.
It calls on all local committees to lend
generous and ungrudging support to
this sacred cause.

The American Red Cross will aid the
American soldier who will go to
Europe to fight for world democracy.
It will lighten his many burdens. It
will provide him with first aid medical
treatment when injured. It will pro-
vide him with many home comforts.
Perhaps your own son or brother or
husband will need the help of this
