Leopold Spiegel, a son of the Rev.
Dr. Adolph Spiegel, and Miss Ruth
Spiegel, a daughter of Edward Spie-
gel, was celebrated in the east ball-
room of the Astor, the ceremony be-
ing performed by the bridegroom's
father, Dr. Spiegel, who for 25 years
was head of the Congregation Shaari-
Zcdek, assisted by the Rev. Dr. De
Sola Pool, president of the Board of
Jewish Ministers of New York, and
a number of other rabbis, the Rev.
Dr. Gustav Hausman. the Rev. Dr.
Samuel Weifeld, the Rev. Dr. Theo-
dore Recchert. the Rev. Dr. B. J.
Tintner, the Rev. Dr. Edward Liss-
man, the Rev. Dr. Jacob Thariau, and
the Rev. Dr. T. Wilhelmein, each one
took part in the ceremony.
