One of the very enjoyable affairs of the season was the (lance
given by Beta Chapter of the Sigma Phi Sorority on Tuesday even-
ing, May 29, at Duplex Hall. The color scheme, the rose and silver
of the sorority, was most beautifully carried out in the invitations,
programs and decorations. Shook's Imperio,1 orchestra furnished
music for dancing. Miss Fara Litman was general chairman of the
committee on arrangements with the following assistants : Misses
Laura Rosenthal, Rose Edloft, Gertrude Beisman, Selma Rosenthal,
Julia Klein and Silka Stocker. The patronesses for the evening were
