Mass Meeting

Arcadia Hall, Woodward Ave. and Stimson Place

Sunday, June 3rd, 8 p. m.

H

ON. Henry Morgenthau, formerly Minister to Turkey, has come
to address us briefly on the conditions in the war zone.

Mr. Morgenthau, because of his official position, has been closely in touch with
the situation, and can therefore give us first hand knowledge of the horrible condition
our people find themselves in.

Rabbi Nathan Krass, who some five weeks ago electrified his audience with his sub-
ject, "Is God Asleep?" will again be with us.

Rabbi Franklin, Rabbi Levin and Rabbi Hershman will also address us briefly.

This night brings to a climax the campaign of the Detroit Committee for the Relief
of Jewish War Sufferers, and complete reports of their work will be presented to the
mass meeting.

Every Jew in Detroit and vicinity should attend this meeting, because it will be a
meeting of Jews to help Jews. Never in the history of our people has there been such
a cry for help as is being heard today. All over this country this cry is being answered
by a flood of money that almost equals the Niagara in its proportion. Detroit has been
asked to do its share and we have answered: "We'll do more than our share."

Be sure and attend the mass meeting. It will be an occasion to be remembered.

There will be no reserved seats, and the doors will be opened at sharp 7:30. It is
suggested that you come early. No tickets required.
