THE JEWISH CHRONICLE

"This is my 30th Year of Buying
my Clothes at B. Siegel Co's"

A customer who bought a tailored
suit last Tuesday made the above
comment. We print this remark be-
cause if we have succeeded in pleasing
this lady and her family (whom we
number among our customers) for a
score and a half of years, we surely
are able to serve others as well.
Detroit has sonic of the best stores,
in various lines, to be found in Amer-
ica, and when an outergarment house
can hold its customers for thirty or
more years it is unqualified evidence
that it is working along the right lines,
giving satisfactory service, and selling
satisfactory merchandise.
To maintain the high quality, the
very latest authentic fashions, and
sensible prices—this is our daily task
and the chief effort to which we de-
vote ourselves.
In these days when the ordinary
expenditures are considered with a lit-
tle greater care than usual, it becomes
B. Siegel Co.'s time of opportunity
where money spent in dependable
quality merchandise brings the most
for the outlay, where every transaction
is satisfactory. Women who shop the
widest know of the truth of this asser-
tion.
Broad vision builds cities and pri-
vate fortunes—large vision builds
worth-while reputations. Broad vision
alone gets things along. Human in-
terest must be mixed with material
things if what they amount to is to
be enduring.

According to the London Daily News.
the Turkish troops before their retire-
ment from Bagdad stripped all Jewish
houses of whatever they could find. It
is estimated that the damage done will
amount to more than 2,000,000 francs.
