Franklin officiating, in the presence of forty guests. A charming arrange- ment of palms and pink roses formed a most effective setting for the bridal party. Miss Sufinsky's only attend- ant was her cousin, Miss Fannie Salk, who acted as maid of honor, Mr. Da- vid Williams, brother of the groom, assisting as best man. Mr. and Mrs. Williams have left for an eastern trip and will be at home after May 1st at 549 Virginia Park. Mrs. Robert Nederlander and (laughter, Sara, of Hancock avenue, have returned from a visit in Goshen, Ind., and Chicago. Mrs. J. Van Baalen of Trumbull avenue is visiting in Chicago. Mrs. Isaac Goldberg and daughter, Barbara, have returned from a visit in Kalamazoo. Mrs. Charles A. Bennett has left for a month's stay in Battle Creek. Mrs. Abner Weinberg, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Weinberg of Collingwood avenue, has returned to her home in Youngs- town, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Ashe and daughter, Natalie Regina, have re- turned from Port Huron, where they spent the holidays. Mrs. E. M. Rothman has returned from St. Petersburg, Fla., where she spent the winter months. Mrs. R. T. Rosenfield has arrived home from a three months' visit in Long Beach, Cal., where she was the guest of her sister, Mrs. Sarah Berger. Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Frank of Warren avenue have returned from an extended southern trip. The monthly meeting of the Grill Club took place on Tuesday evening of last week at the Phoenix Club. Mr. Lew Levinson of Grosse Pointe will leave shortly for New York, where he will continue his studies under Professor Emil Strauss. Mr. Isaac Friedlander of Cincin- nati spent several days in the city during the week as the guest of Mr. Samuel Heavenrich. Mr. Joel J. Gottlieb has left for a short business trip to New York. Mr. Edmond Sloman spent Wednes- day of last week in Lansing. On Sunday evening last at the call of Rabbi Franklin, a large number of Jewish students of the various local colleges gathered in the assembly rooms of Temple Beth El to discuss ways and means of forming a fellow- ship organization, through which they might become better acquainted with each other, and incidentally under- take some form of social service work that may be needed in the community. A number of those present spoke en- thusiastically about the proposed so- ciety, and a committee was appointed to devise plans for its organization. They will report at a meeting to be held on Sunday evening, April 29th. The marriage of Mr. Oscar G. Mas- sie and Miss Mayme Leboise took place in the parlors of Temple Beth El on Sunday noon, April 15, Rabbi Franklin officiating.
