yers has been engaged in journalistic work -in New York city, arrived in
Detroit on. Sunday for i.inonth's vi l sit withher par,ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob
F..,i fTeichner;'and her sister, Mrs. - Q*ar Rosenberger. Prior to her departure
three years ago, Miss Teicimer was' a member of the staff of the Detroit
Evening .News. and it is with a feelihg of pride . that her many .friends. have
!Omura her rapid:'and Continued success in her chosen field. Miss Teichner
hat. had many unusual experiences, having been a member of the Ford peace
party, and accompanying the "Vote .fOr Hughes". party on its trip through the
country, as Vell` as having been, privileged to interview men and women of
world-wide renown. Her poems have been widely copied, and have drawn
fore th much favorable comment from the press. Upon her return to New

MISS MIRIAM TEICHNER

Mr. and Mrs. Elias I. Wolf of
Cleveland announce the marriage of
their daughter, Jewel, to Mr. Milton
Charles Hirschfield, on Tuesday,
April 3. Mr. and Mrs. Hirschfield
will be at home after April 15th at
136 McLean avenue.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Robinson and
Mr. Montrose Wittelshofer of Mars-
ton Court spent a few days in Wheel-
ing, W. Va., during the week.
Rabbi Leo M. Franklin spoke before
the Twentieth Century Club on
Thursday morning upon the "Litera-
ture of the Old Testament." On the
afternoon of the same day Rabbi
Franklin addressed the Woman's
Auxiliary of the House of Provi-
dence, and on Friday evening ad-
dressed the Congregation in Saginaw.
Mr. and. Mrs. Alvin Traxler have
moved to 855 Second avenue.
The Jewish Woman's Club is plan-
ning to close its activities for the
winter with a dinner and dance to be
given on May 1st at the Hotel Stat-
ler.
