The parlor meeting held at the home of Mrs. Harry Frank on Friday
afternoon, for Miss Henrietta Szold, was a most delightful affair. Following
a talk of unusual interest by Miss Szold, Miss Phyllis Davies of the Aborn
Opera, 'Company charmed" her audience with the aria from "Tristan and
Isolde'.' ;Miss Dayies.posseSses a voice of unusual power and beauty, and she
was ably accompanied by Miss Lillian Shimberg.

The" Jewish Woman's ClulL has announced the following splendid pro-
grasi for Sunday, April 1: A, talk on "Vocational Training for Girls: Its
P4t1sonal, Economic and Social Aspects," by Elsie Seelye Pratt of the health
service " department of the University of Michigan. Musical numbers by Miss
Priscilla Dilleway, 'cellist, with Mrs. Clara Falton as accompanist.

The informal dance given on Tuesday evening for the benefit of the
Fresh Air Society was one of the most successful affairs ever undertaken by
the society, both financially and socially. An attendance of 250 is estimated.•
and the ladies in chrge were untiring in their efforts to make the affair an
unqualified success. Mrs. Joseph L. Selling acted as general chairman of the
committee on arrangements.

Mrs. Henry Riegelman of New York is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Max
May of Westminster avenue.

Miss Hattie Groneman has moved
her residence studio from Palmer
avenue to 101 Hendrie avenue.

Mr. Harry Myers of Syracuse
spent the week end as the guest of
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Goulson of
Winona avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel T. Berger
of Lawrence avenue have returned
from a visit' in Hot Springs, Ark.
Mrs. Albert Zenner and her broth-
er, Mr. Samuel Sloman, have left for
Los Angeles, Cal., to join Mrs. Slo-
man and Mrs. Bertha Zenner, who
have been making an extended tour
