One of the guests of Detroit dur- ing the week is Mrs. Francis Hellin, field secretary of the Jewish Consump- tives' Relief Society of Denver, Colo., who has come here in behalf of that institution. Mrs. Heflin speaks very highly of the° generosity of Detroiters. "It is a pleasure for me to come to your city,"bs'ie said to a Jewish Chronicle representative, "I am treated so royally and the Jewish people here are so splendidly liberal in support- ing the Denver sanitarium. Last'year the contribution of Detroit Jews to the fight we are waging against the dread white plague was over $2,300.
