Wedding

BIG IMPORTANCE

MR. AND MRS. S. H. FRANK

Of interest to many Detroiters is
the announcement of the celebration
of the golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs.
S. H. Frank of Toledo, Ohio, which
was celebrated last Wednesday. Mrs.
S H. Frank is the (laughter of the
late Marcus Freud of Detroit. Mr.
Frank was a resident of Detroit for
20 years. The couple were married
here in 1867.
Among the many guests at the cele-
bration the following represented the

many friends of the venerable couple:
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Ullman, Mr. Ju-
lius Freud, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Freud,
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rodgers, Mr. and
Mrs. Joshua Spater, Mr. Milton Freud,
Mr. Isador Freud, and Mrs. Hannah

Four daughters, five sons, two
granddaughters and six grandsons, all
of whom have families, attended the
celebration.

Miss Jeanette Starikoff has been
honored in being appointed president
of the girls' house of the graduating
class of the Central high school. Miss
Starikoff is the first Jewish girl to
have this distinction and her ability
