Oldest Member of New York
Stock Exchange Passes
Away at Age of 93.
James Seligman, senior member
of the firm of J. & W. Seligman &
Co. of New York and the oldest
member of the New York Stock
F.xchange, which he joined in 1860,
after being a member of the old
Gold Board, died today at his
summer home on Cedar avenue,
this place, in his ninety-third year.
I le had been ill for the last ten
days, and last night the physicians
gave up home of his recovery. I Iis
death was due to the infirmities of
age. with him when he died were his
est avenue, who has been at Mack-
inac Island and other northern
points for the past month, will re-
main at the Lakeview hotel, Mack-
inac Island, until September 1.
Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Weil, of
192 Pingree avenue, have returned
from an extensive eastern trip.
Mrs. I. Feisch and Miss Miriam
Feisch, of Dorchester, Mass., are
visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. Solovich.
