NEW EXHIBITS ADDED
TO BUILDERS' AND
TRADERS' EXPOSITION
splendid face brick exhibit is
the latest addition to the perman-
ent building exposition of the
Builders and Traders on the fourth
tloor of the Penobscot building - , be-
ing the display of the Colonial
Brick Co. Various kinds of 1. 1010•
brick are shown, laid,up in an ar-
tistic way, and giving very artistic
effects.
The Vitrolite Sanitary Construc-
tion Company has completed its ex-.
hibit of Vitrolite, which includes a
shower bath and other necessities,
illustrating the practical uses of the
material.
The Detroit Brick Nkulufactur-
•rs' Association are working on
their miniature brick house, and the
structure is already taking such
form as to indicate a very attrac-
tive display when completed.
Practically all of the remaining
space in the exposition is now
under reservation, and as nearly all
of the private offices have been
leased, a waiting list ill both the
offices and the exposition will soon
be in effect.
The legislative committee of the
Exchange is working out some
plans \ VhiCh will be of great im-
portance to contractors particular-
ly and the users of trucks gener-
ally, but it is not in shape as vet for
public announcement.
The visitors to the exposition
continue to show an increase iu
numbers daily, and the wide range
of information sought proves that
the project is meeting with public
favor in a greater degree even than
was anticipated.
Chief Rabbi Nloses Ballad, of
Lemberg, died there suddenly at the
end of last month. I to was one of
the most respected rabbis in Galicia
and labored energetically to assure
the legal status of orthodox rabbis
in that country. When the Russians
occupied Lemberg in the autumn of
1914, the chief rabbi, with many
other Galician rabbis and Jewish
scholars, took refuge in Vienna.
