A miscellaneous shower was
given by the Misses Sadie and Lil-
lian \lonash in honor of Miss Lil-
lian Goodman, whose marriage to
r. Emery NIonash will take place
in August.
Mr. and Nlrs. E. M. Rothman
and sons of 995 Cass Avenue will
leave today on a motor trip to the
Berkshire and White mountains,
They will spend a few weeks at
Poland Springs, Me., and will be
absent four weeks.
Mrs. Minnie Gross of Brooklyn,
N. Y., is visiting at the home of
her niece, Mrs. Hannah Sonnen-
berg, Myrtle Street and Vinewood
Avenue. She is accompanied by
her daughter, Mrs. Anna Meyers,
and her two grandchildren, Mr.
Bernard Meyers, Jr., • and Miss
Bernice Meyers.
Miss Helen H. Morris, 29 Pil-
grim Avenue, has returned from
New York City, where she has been
studying music for several. months.
The • Misses Fannye and Dehlia
Marx of Frederick Avenue have
left for a trip to Mackinaw Island
and Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. T. Binhart of Cleveland
has been the guest of her aunt,
Mrs. M. Karell, of 97 Farnsworth
Avenue.
Dr. and Mrs. J. Mandell of New
York City stopped in Detroit for a
short stay with friends en route to
Mt. Clemens.

Mr. Ernst J. Enphrath of New
York City recently returned from a
tour of the world, was the week-
end guest of Mr. and Mrs. Anton
Kaufman.
Mrs. Helena Amstack and fam-
ily and Master James Dan Oliet
have taken a cottage at Pearl Beach
for the month of August.
Mr. Alexander Friedman has re-
turned from New York and Buf-
falo, where he attended the Shrin-
ers' convention. Mr. and Mrs.
Friedman spent the week-end at the
Park hotel, Mt. Clemens.
Miss Anna Berman of New York
is the guest of Miss Sadie Lipsitz
of 742 Brush Boulevard.
Mr. Abraham Burstein has re-
turned to Cleveland after spending
a week with friends in Detroit.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Fisher
have left for a three weeks' visit
with relatives in Albion and Battle
Creek.
Miss Pearl Franklin and Mrs.
M. Franklin, en route to Mackinac,
spent a day in Detroit with friends.
Miss Pearl Rappaport of Chi-
cago is the guest of her cousin, Miss
Julia Caplan, of Brush Street.
Mr. and Mrs. A. Harris of Bat-
tle Creek, who were visiting rela-
tives in Detroit, have returned to
their home.
Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe Himelhoch
have removed from 45 Erskine
Street to 243 West Boston Boule-
vard.
