According to reports received by the United Hebrew Charities, the Fresh Air Camp for Jewish chil- dren, which is maintained by that organization, is catering - to more children than ever this summer. The severe heat of the summer has caused a veritable flood of applica- tions for admission to the camp to pour into the United Ilebrew Charities office with the result that the camp is crowded to its capac- ity. For the first time since its founding, the camp is being con- ducted along strictly kosher lines. All meats are brought from De- troit, two sets of dishes are used, and every effort is made by the au- thorities in charge to adhere as strictly as possible to the Jewish dictarY laws. Several weeks ago the camp wits visited by Rabbi \ hr. A. D. Levin (LW, who Wade a thorough inspec- tion of the preparation and serving of all food, with a view to insure that the strictest possible observ- ance of the Laws has been made. An urgent appeal for greater sup- port of the Fresh Air Camp is made to the Jewish public of De- troit in order that it may be able to have additional accommodations and prove of even more service than it has in the past. The dues are one dollar per year. ■.■ Carat Diamonds te2,5 Sallan Woodward and Gratiot "The Sallan Corner" LONG DISTANCE PHONE 836-i The Albany Hotel STRICTLY KOSHER Special Dinners for Tourists B.
