In recognition of the faithful
services rendered by her to the I ie-
brew Ladies' Aid Society, of which
she was four years vice-president,
52 ladies of that organization gath-
ered at the home of Mrs. Samuel
Ecker of -481 Cameron Avenue to
a surprise banquet given by them
in her honor. Mrs. Harry Klein,
president, acted as toastmistress,
and on behalf of the ladies present
thanked Mrs. Ecker for her inval-
uable services. The latter showed
by her response that she was deeply
moved by the splendid tribute paid
her. The banquet table was pret-
tily decorated with flowers. After
the repast, all adjourned to the ball
room for dancing.
