Jacob G. Brown Elevated to Position of State WI- lager
of Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Company

The announcement has been
made by the central offices of the
Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance
Company of the promotion of Mr.
Jacob G. Brown, hitherto assist-
ant manager of the local office, to
the position of general manager
of the company for the state of
Michigan.

Mr. Brown has long been prom-
inently identified with local Jew-
ish public affairs. Ile was espe-
cially active in the recent cam-
paign for war relief funds, which
resulted in the collection of over.
a hundred thousand dollars, the
third largest amount raised by
any American city. I le is also
well known as the vice-president
of the United I I ebrew Charities.
